It's Your Choice

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.   John 3:16


Salvation is a free gift. You cannot earn it with good works - no one can achieve God's perfect standard. Jesus Christ, the son of God, earned our salvation by giving His life on a cross for all who would believe in Him. Choose Him today.

A.  ACKNOWLEDGE that truthfully, all is not well between you and God. You may not be a "bad person", but still...His standards are higher than you can reach. "There is no difference...All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  Romans 3:22-23

B.  BELIEVE that there's still a way to remedy this situation. It is the generous sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross who took the punishment we deserve. He stepped up for each one of us. "You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly...For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Romans 5:6 & 6:23

C. CALL OUT to the Lord for His forgiveness, grace and mercy. Tell Him sincerely that you are willing to be changed on the inside. Ask Him to accept you as one of His children. He won't reject you,  He will welcome you. Listen to the words of the ancient prophet Joel; "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."  Joel 2:32, Romans 10:13


Invite Christ into your life now.  Pray this prayer aloud:
Father, I acknowledge that my life is not perfect before you. I ask for your mercy and forgiveness for my thoughts, words and actions that have been wrong and broken your laws. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sin, and I accept the free gift of salvation. I give the authority and control of my life to you. Work in me and through me so that I may become all that you have designed me to be. Empower me to live a life of purity and to be an influence for You in everything I do; in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
